Let’s start at the beginning. In 1987, Tinker Hatfield found himself in Paris, gazing upon the Pompidou Centre. Its futuristic design sparked an idea: make the Air cushioning in sneakers visible. This concept not only renewed Nike’s competitiveness but also captivated fans with innovative technology. Fast forward 27 years to March 26, the day Air Max 1 debuted and the rest is history!
